BOCA RATON, Florida – April 12th, 2024 — Transportation Solutions & Lighting, Inc., the southeast's most well-known and respected supplier and integrator of solar lighting and emergency call systems, has once again demonstrated its industry-leading expertise. The company has been awarded the prestigious contract for the Village of Islamorada to supply and install Engo Solar smart lighting on the grounds of the world-famous Islamorada city hall and founder’s park. Among the 10 vendors who submitted proposals, Transportation Solutions & Lighting's offering stood out, securing the contract for this renowned village in South Florida's Keys.

Islamorada, Florida, is known as the sport fishing capital of the world. Founders Park, located at 87000 Overseas Highway, is the center of the Village’s Park system, offering sports, recreation, and aquatic programs, special events, recreational facilities, an amphitheater, a beach, and pathways. Also located within Founders Park are the Parks and Recreation and Public Works offices, the Village Administrative and Safety Headquarters, Founders Park Community Center and Council Chambers, and Plantation Yacht Harbor Marina.

This project represents a significant step in the Village of Islamorada's journey towards sustainability and energy efficiency. The adoption of the new Engo Planet solar lighting technology will not only enhance lighting performance but also lead to a substantial reduction in energy consumption and maintenance costs, contributing to a greener and more cost-effective future for the village.

"We are honored to partner with the Village of Islamorada to bring this innovative solar lighting solution to their Town Hall," said Cecile Nguyen, CEO of Transportation Solutions & Lighting. "Our team is committed to delivering a high-quality project that exceeds the village's expectations and contributes to a more sustainable future."

The project is expected to be kicked off by the summer of 2024 and will include the installation of 77 new solar lighting systems throughout the Town Hall's facilities.
