Transportation Solutions & Lighting (TS&L) has partnered with Georgia State University to enhance campus safety by deploying additional blue light emergency technology across Downtown Atlanta. This initiative aims to improve emergency response and create a safer environment for the university community.
ATLANTA, GA | October 25, 2025 — Transportation Solutions & Lighting (TS&L), a leading integrator of campus safety and critical communications infrastructure, announced today an expanded agreement to support ongoing safety improvements at Georgia State University. This initiative includes the deployment of additional blue light emergency technology across the university’s satellite campuses and select locations in Downtown Atlanta.
This expansion reflects Georgia State’s continued investment in modern, visible safety infrastructure that helps strengthen emergency response, improve situational awareness, and support a safer environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Strengthening Coverage Across Multiple Campuses
The expanded project will support safety upgrades across Georgia State’s broader campus footprint, including satellite locations such as Perimeter College campuses (e.g., Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, and Newton) and targeted areas within the Downtown Atlanta campus environment.
Planned improvements may include:
